After prototyping for a couple years, I joined a game team in early concept development that needed an Art Director. After running audience testing, we had a Preproduction phase where I wrote an art style guide and established several development pipelines. The game is currently under wraps in Production.

My Responsibilities
Wrote an Art Style guide to establish the look and feel of the game, as well as supplemental guides to expand on processes
Worked with the existing team to decipher the goals of the project and reduce thrash
Managed a team of eight artists, which ramped up to 17 artists in the span of a year
Created mood boards, spreadsheets, documentation, mockups, art specs, and sample art to establish a strong Art Direction for both 2D and 3D assets
Jumped into Unity myself when there were team outages to tackle high priority items
Mentored reports with the goal of growing their skill set to eventually take my place
