After the success of Wizard of Oz Slots, I was tapped to lead the art team on a new slots game, Willy Wonka Slots. After a relatively short development time of five months, we launched in 2016 and maintained the game for two years, before handing it off to an external studio. I was moved back to Wizard of Oz Slots to run the larger team.
My Responsibilities
Oversaw development of over thirty slot machines, twenty features, and HUD development and eventual redesign.
Defined art processes for both preproduction and production, writing technical specs, design docs, and process documentation.
Managed nine direct reports. When I became Art Director of both Wizard of Oz Slots and Wonka Slots simultaneously, this briefly became twenty-three direct reports.
Personally worked on several features and graybox mechanics.
